It was a great night hosted by one of the production team that included family, friends - and the entire neighbourhood. I was thankful to have my nephews along to get an idea of my 'home away from home' for the next 2 months and to meet the people who are my road family. I think the highlight of the evening for us all was when Jason, Lori, Dr T and Del were all presented with their tour riding jackets - custom made for each one of them. All of a sudden the reality of the adventure before us became real as they donned what will be their uniforms on the road. And now, we just want to get ON the road!
And finally, a picture of the boys with the Olympic torch that we'll be taking on the road with us and then auctioning off at our gala in October after it's all over. I'm going to miss these guys!
